3 Teams With NFL Win Totals Set Too High

  • The Jacksonville Jaguars’ win total is set at 6.5 with the Under having -110 odds.
  • The Philadelphia Eagles Under 6.5 wins is a +120 betting underdog.
  • The Atlanta Falcons’ total is set at 7.5 with -115 odds on both sides.

LAS VEGAS – The NFL win totals for each team are available on sportsbooks and a couple of teams have theirs set too high. Instead of betting on good teams to be bad, it may be most beneficial to be to bet on the bad teams to be really bad.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Under 6.5 Wins

The Jacksonville Jaguars have plenty of hype between Urban Meyer and Trevor Lawrence making their debuts with the team, but it’s possible that NFL betting sites have still set their total too high.

Jacksonville Jaguars Win Total

  • Over 6.5 -120
  • Under 6.5 -110

A first-year coach and a first-year quarterback are rarely a good thing in projecting an NFL season, especially when coupled together. The only thing that could potentially save the Jaguars from going Under their total is having the Houston Texans in their division who could be two free wins.

There is no telling when the Texans' QB situation gets figured out, but it’s tough to see the Jags beating many other teams in the league.

Philadelphia Eagles: Under 6.5 Wins

The Philadelphia Eagles are in a similar spot as the Jaguars in the sense that Jalen Hurts is a first-time full-season starter and Nick Sirianni is a first-year head coach.

Further, the conference they are in is projected to be on the weaker side of things, however, the Under still seems like the best play.

Philadelphia Eagles Win Total

  • Over 6.5 -160
  • Under 6.5 +120

Hurts is the wildcard for the Eagles, but it’s tough to fully buy into him.

He had just one win last season as a starter, and despite putting up numbers, it didn’t result in wins. Sports betting sites favor the Over moderately, but that just leaves plenty of value on the Under.

Atlanta Falcons: Under 7.5 Wins

Atlanta has lost Julio Jones, brought in a new coach, and has a lackluster defense. Allowing nearly 400 yards per game is not a good recipe for success and while it should be a little better, it’s unlikely it’s a big change.

Further, the offense looks to only be getting worse. To top it off, there’s a new head coach.

Atlanta Falcons Win Total

  • Over 7.5 -115
  • Under 7.5 -115

The Atlanta Falcons are in a relatively tough division and could very well struggle to find wins with the bad defense and regressing offense.
