NFC North Division Odds – Best NFC North Betting Lines
The Green Bay Packers have dominated the NFC North over the last 10 seasons leaving little room for any other team to come out on top. Both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings have been crowned division champions in the last 10 years, however, the Detroit Lions have yet to win a division title since the formation of the division in 2002. With the Packers remaining a tight grip on the division and both the Bears and Lions likely out of the picture for the foreseeable future, some real profit can be made.

NFC North Division Odds
Minnesota Vikings win Division
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are in a great position to add a fourth consecutive NFC North title to their name and have strong -185 odds to do so. This is now the second year in a row where their preseason odds are stronger than -150. Feeding into their odds is that they’ve hit the over on their win totals the past three seasons winning 13 games in each one, they’ve also been favored and made the playoffs in those three seasons as well. They also lead the division against the spread since 2012 going 35-26 ATS since then against NFC North opponents.
Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings, have remained competitive in the division since their last title in 2017 as they’ve finished in second place in three of the last four seasons. NFL betting sites have also kept hope alive for them as their preseason odds have opened under +300 since then as well. Holding them afloat as well in the last five seasons is that they are tied with the Packers for the best S/U record against divisional opponents in the last five seasons at 18-11-1.
Chicago Bears
Things have been taking a nose dive for the Chicago Bears as their preseason odds to win the NFC North have gotten longer and longer since 2019. They went from +175 in 2019 to +450 in 2020 to +550 in 2021. In the preseason of the 2022 season, they went in with their longest odds since 2018 at +800. For those that follow betting trends though, three of the last four division titles that the Bears won all came from +450 odds or higher including the 2018 season that had +800 odds.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions have been considered a black hole being that they have yet to win a division title since 2002 when the division came to life. Based on their odds since 2016, it looks as if they won’t be winning one anytime soon. In six of the seven years since 2016, their preseason odds have opened at or above +700 each time. Over the last five seasons, they’ve been horrendous on the moneyline against division opponents at 10-20 as well. The one area that has offered a major profit in recent years is betting the under on their projected season win total. They’ve gone under in four straight seasons. If you would have bet $100 on them to stay under in each of those four years, you’d be up $440.91 being that the last three years have seen plus odds on the under.
