NFL Teams Odds Showing Which Teams Are In The Playoffs

NEW YORK – There are nine teams in the NFL with prop bets posted on sportsbooks about their odds of making it to the postseason.

Football is currently in Week 16 of 17 in what has felt like a whirlwind season and will begin its transition into the playoff stage. Of the nine teams listed on sports betting platforms, six have odds stacked in their favor for a chance at a playoff berth while the other three are coming in as underdogs.

The Wagers On The Table

Betting on the Super Bowl is the biggest event that gamblers in the U.S. put action on but more wagers can pour in as the postseason nears. Not just because the games hold more weight to them, being “do or die” but because there will be an almost yearlong wait until sports bettors can gamble on the NFL again so they need to get their fill while they still can.

The six teams with odds of making it into the playoffs are:

The Arizona Cardinals are third in the NFC West with a record of 8-6 for the season. They are currently on a two-win winning streak with their next game coming up on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers (+190).

Arizona is expected to increase that streak to three-game as they’re the favorite to win with odds of (-230).

The Cleveland Browns are second in the AFC North, holding a record of 10-4 in 2020.

The Browns will go up against the New York Jets on Sunday. The Jets (+350) won their first game this past weekend for the entire season, making the Browns (-500) the heavy favorite to win in this matchup.

The Colts are tied for first with the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South, having 10 wins and 4 losses in 2020. Indianapolis is on a winning streak of three games going into the weekend match against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

The Colts (-130) are favored to win because the once golden Steelers (+110) have spiraled in the wrong direction as of late.

The Los Angeles Rams are in second place for the NFC West. They have 9 wins and 5 losses this year. The Rams started out the season strong but have since taken a turn and tarnished what could have been a tremendous season.

Los Angeles (-105) will play the Seattle Seahawks (-115) on Sunday where they are the slight underdog entering the game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are placing second in the NFC South with a 9-5 season and a two-game winning streak under their belts.

The Bucs (-470) will play the Detroit Lions (+335) on Saturday where they are heavily favored to take that win streak to three games.

The Tennessee Titans are tied with the Indianapolis Colts for first in the AFC South with a record of 10-4. They have a two-game winning streak going into Week 16.

The Titans (+155) will play the Green Bay Packers (-175) on Sunday where they will be the underdogs to win.

The Chicago Bears are second in the NFC North with a record of 7-7. Chicago (-370) will be playing the Jacksonville Jaguars (+285) on Sunday where they are favored to win.

The Miami Dolphins are second in the AFC East with a record of 9-5 for the year. Miami (-155) will go up against the Las Vegas Raiders (+135) on Saturday and are favored to beat Vegas in the game.
