PITTSBURGH – With the NFL season in full swing, certain teams are starting to pull out in front and make themselves known.

The reason for some teams pulling out in front could lie with the coaching staff.

That being said, NFL sportsbooks have odds for who will win the Coach of the Year award and Steelers, Mike Tomlin is leading in the favorite spot.

AP Coach Of The Year 2020:

  • Mike Tomlin +450
  • John Harbaugh +800
  • Bruce Arians +900
  • Brian Flores +900
  • Kliff Kingsbury +1000
  • Kevin Stefanski +1000
  • Andy Reid +1000
  • Ron Rivera +1000
  • Frank Reich +1200
  • Mike Vrabel +1200

As mentioned before, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin, looks to be heavily favored to win the Coach of the Year.

He turned this team around tremendously as they finished 8-8 in 2019 and are now the only undefeated team left in the league at 6-0.

Granted, the Steelers were dealing with tons of injuries last season but now that all of their players have returned to action, it is as if they have not skipped a beat in returning to a contending form.

Moving on to the Steelers division rivals, the Baltimore Ravens and their head coach, John Harbaugh.

Harbaugh is no doubt one of the best coaches in the league being that his roster has star talent at most positions.

Harbaugh won the award last year after taking this team to a 14-2 record. The real question here is if he will be able to do it again this year and prove that his team is the real deal as there have been many doubts about their young team.

If in fact, Harbaugh is able to lead them to a similar record and have a strong playoff outing, he could certainly win back to back Coach of the Year awards.

Another coach that could offer a nice payout here is Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach, Bruce Arians.

Arians was given a chance to prove what he can do with a team of this caliber that has arguably the greatest quarterback of all time and possibly the best receiving core in the league. The Buccaneers did start off a little slow after dropping their first game of the season but have been scorching ever since as they are now sitting at a 5-2 record and are in first place in the NFC South.

It is no secret that Arians has always been a good coach, but the fact that this is his team's first year together with Brady under center, Arians has proven that he is once again one of the better coaches in the league.

For those NFL bettors looking for a slight longshot, Mike Vrabel of the Tennessee Titans could offer a nice payout as well as he has led the Titans to a great season thus far.

He has led them to a 5-1 record despite the team having issues with COVID-19 early on in the season. He and his team have managed to stay focused on their issues.

Something else to keep in mind is that the Titans finished last season with a 9-7 record, so the fact that they only have one loss thus far in the season and primes to win the AFC South should have NFL bettors looking in Vrabel’s direction with no hesitation.
