Are Flores And Rivera’s Coach Of The Year Odds Worth Taking The Risk?

  • Ron Rivera has +350 odds to win the Coach of the Year.
  • Brian Flores’ odds to win Coach of the Year are sitting at +450.

MIAMI – With the NFL season beginning to wind down, now is the time for NFL bettors to begin making their decisions on who their pick is for the Coach of the Year.

All throughout the season, Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers has been at the top of the Coach of the year odds board.

However, there has been plenty of movement behind his odds that are starting to solidify.

2021 Coach Of The Year Odds

  • Mike Tomlin +155
  • Ron Rivera +350
  • Brian Flores +450
  • Andy Reid +1000
  • Kevin Stefanski +1100
  • Sean McDermott +1200
  • Matt Lafleur +2000
  • Sean McVay +2000
  • Sean Payton +2000
  • Frank Reich +2500
  • Mike Vrabel +3300

Two names that NFL sportsbooks have made tremendous shifts to are Ron Rivera and Brian Flores.

Looking at Ron Rivera, his odds were as far back as +1000 towards the beginning of the season and have climbed up ever since. There is still plenty of work to be done for the Washington Football Team, but he has completely turned this team around after a horrific 1-5 start to the season.

Since then, he has led them to a 5-2 record to bring their regular season record to 6-7 and they now sit in first place in the NFC East.

This is a major accomplishment being that many did not even consider them a threat to start the season. If indeed, Washington can pull off a playoff spot, Rivera could be in serious consideration for the Coach of the Year award.

That being said, now is the perfect time to jump on his odds before rumors start coming up.

Looking at Brian Flores, he has done an excellent job with this Miami Dolphins team as he has completely turned things around in South Beach.

He has turned a corner with the Miami Dolphins as they finished last season with a 5-11 record and sat in last place in the AFC East to right now where they sit at 8-5 and are two games behind of the top spot in the division.

Not to mention, Flores has changed the defensive game plan completely as they have arguably the best defense in the league being that they allow the second least amount of points per game.

Something else to take note of is that the Dolphins will likely make the playoffs at the rate that they have been going. With them likely making the playoffs, right now would be the time for NFL bettors to get a jump on Brian Flores’s odds to win Coach of the Year as they would offer a great payout.
