NFL Divisional Odds: Updated Lines After Week 2 Of 2021 Season

  • The Dallas Cowboys have become a bigger favorite in the NFC East after Week 2 of the season.
  • The Tennessee Titans' odds have moved from -110 to -200 in the AFC South.
  • The Las Vegas Raiders are still last in the AFC West but have become a more viable betting option.

DALLAS – With another full week of NFL games completed, the divisional odds have changed again. A couple of favorites saw their odds get shorter while some longshots closed some serious ground.

NFC East: Dallas Cowboys Break Short Of EVEN

The Dallas Cowboys were one of the few teams that were favored in their division but had a plus-value betting line last week. That is no longer the case as NFL betting sites have shortened their line after the win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

NFC East Odds

  • Dallas Cowboys -160
  • Washington Football Team +300
  • Philadelphia Eagles +550
  • New York Giants +900

The Cowboys will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night and will look to increase their divisional lead. The New York Giants were the biggest movers of the week, going from +500 to their current betting line of +900.

AFC South: Tennessee Titans Odds Shorten Atop Division

Prior to the team’s Week 2 win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Tennessee Titans were the -110 favorites in the AFC South. Now, their betting line has seen a lot of movement as even bigger favorites.

AFC South Odds

  • Tennessee Titans -200
  • Indianapolis Colts +220
  • Jacksonville Jaguars +1400
  • Houston Texas +1400

Only the Titans are favored in their Week 3 matchup and are doing so against the Indianapolis Colts. A win would push the Colts to 0-3 on the season and surely largen the divisional lead even more.

AFC West: Las Vegas Raiders Close Ground

The AFC West has what’s thought to be one of the more dominant teams in the NFL in the Kansas City Chiefs. However, sports betting sites are narrowing the gap between the Chiefs and the rest of the division.

AFC West Odds

  • Kansas City Chiefs -200
  • Denver Broncos +450
  • Los Angeles Chargers +600
  • Las Vegas Raiders +700

Although the Las Vegas Raiders are still the +700 longshot, that is a major improvement from their +1500 betting line a week ago. Also, Kansas City moved from -300 back to -200, a signal that their reign as the best in the west may be ending.

NFC South: Carolina Panthers Becoming An Option

The NFC South is seeing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pull away as the favorites but also the Carolina Panthers closing the gap between the competition. Only the Buccaneers and Panthers are favored in Week 3.

NFC South Odds

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers -300
  • New Orleans Saints +425
  • Carolina Panthers +550
  • Atlanta Falcons +5000

If the betting odds are correct and the New Orleans Saints lose again, this could be a two-horse race between Carolina and Tampa Bay as both are expected to improve to 3-0 on the year after this week.
