  • There are now three coaches favored to win the Coach of The Year award.
  • Bill Belichick, Kliff Kingsbury and Kevin Stefanski all have +1200 odds to be named Coach of the Year.

CLEVELAND – The NFL Coach of the Year oddsboard has two new favorites joining Bill Belichick, as both Kliff Kingsbury of the Arizona Cardinals and Kevin Stefanski of the Cleveland Browns have +1200 odds to win the Coach of the Year award.

It is no surprise that Bill Belichick’s odds to win the COY are favored and have been favored since the odds first released.

However, he will have to really prove himself as he has two up and coming coaches to compete with.

Kevin Stefanski

The upcoming 2020 season will be Kevin Stefanski’s first season as a head coach in the NFL and NFL sportsbooks already have high expectations for him.

He has held different coaching positions for the Minnesota Vikings since 2006 and now will finally get his chance as he is now the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

The reason for him being favored in just his first year is simple, he is joining a team that is loaded with talent, maybe even more talent than the Vikings had. He will have weapons on both sides of the ball like Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, Myles Garrett, and Denzel Ward.

Stefanski's arrival in Cleveland will also bring a much-needed playoff mentality to a Browns team that has not made the playoffs since 2002.

If he is able to turn things around here, bettors can believe that his name will remain at the top of the odds boards, and with +1200 odds, they could be in line for a great payout as well.

Kliff Kingsbury

Kliff Kingsbury’s first season as a head coach in the NFL ended with the Arizona Cardinals finishing with a 5-10 record. It might not seem like the best record, but it is a major step in the right direction for a team that finished 3-13 the year prior.

With the offseason now coming to an end, the Cardinals have set up Kingsbury for success in the upcoming 2020 season.

Not only has Kyler Murray shown promise as he continues to work his way towards an elite level quarterback, but they have acquired elite talent on both sides of the ball. They were able to bring in arguably the best wide receiver in the league today in DeAndre Hopkins and drafted a do it all player on defense in Isaiah Simmons.

Though Kingsbury has not had much NFL coaching experience, improving this Cardinals team from one year to the next.

If he can show that same improvement with his new arsenal of players in 2020, fans and bettors should have no problem when betting on him to win the Coach of the Year award.
