Fully Healthy Threats
At full strength, the value on the Bengals odds going into the season is enormous. In 2024, Joe Burrow’s last fully healthy season, he led the Bengals to a top-10 offense in the league, averaging 27.8 points and 365.5 offensive yards per game. Burrow led the league in passing yards at 4,918. It also helps that the Bengals have arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Where things lacked for Cincinnati was on defense. They were a bottom-10 defense in 2025 and 2024 in both yards and points. They’ve addressed this heavily in the offseason by bringing in Byran Cook and Kyle Dugger in the secondary and Jonathan Allen, Dexter Lawrence, and Boye Mafe.
The Bengals also bulked up the offensive line in drafting Connor Lew and Brian Parker on the offensive line. Both allowed a combined seven sacks throughout their entire careers.
This is a wide-open AFC North division with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers both beatable and the Cleveland Browns nowhere near contention.
Cincinnati opens up the preseason on Thursday, August 13th, against the Detroit Lions and the regular season on September 13th against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1.
