Signs Point Towards Bills Running Away
The Bills odds are backed not only by playing at home, but by the explosive performance they put up in Week 1. The Bills handled the Houston Texans 36-31, where Josh Allen played in true MVP form with 334 yards, two passing touchdowns, and two rushing touchdowns.
Buffalo also saw a standout performance from DJ Moore, who finished with 100 yards and a touchdown. He caught five of eight targets.
Detroit’s performance got off to an impressive start before things turned into a disaster. The Lions found themselves up 21-0 in the third quarter before allowing the New Orleans Saints to tie the game and force overtime before pulling out the win.
On paper, Detroit could’ve easily lost this game, allowing 469 total yards, 29 first downs, 4/5 redzone scores, and allowed 8/17 third-down conversions. The biggest thing that Buffalo will capitalize on is the Lions' secondary, which allowed 182 yards to Chris Olave.
With the way Allen connected to both DJ Moore and Dalton Kincaid (130 yards) for 100+ yards each, a touchdown margin on the spread is in jeopardy for the Lions.
