CHICAGO – Following the Chicago Bears’ 59-point explosion in Week 1, they host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 in their first NFC North game of the season. It also marks the Bears’ home opener at Soldier Field.
It’s hard to fade any team that’s coming off a 59-point outing. That said, Super Bowl sportsbooks are backing the Bears by just under a touchdown margin at a 5.5-point spread.

Sportsbooks Bullish On Chicago After Historic Week 1
The Bears odds are favored this week following the 59-37 win over the Carolina Panthers. More goes into them being favored than just the score, as Caleb Williams put up an MVP-like performance.
Williams finished 21/29 for 269 yards, two touchdowns, 65 rush yards, and two rushing touchdowns. On the ground, D’Andre Swift dominated with 124 yards and three touchdowns. Chicago finished the game with 552 total yards on offense and had a 100% success rate in the redzone.
Where things lean on the Bears even more is with the Vikings lining up on the other side. There was some hype surrounding Minnesota coming into the season with Kyler Murray set to take over as QB1. However, he exited the game early on with a concussion before Carson Wentz took over.
Although the Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 39-22, they allowed 419 total yards, which included 387 yards from Jordan Love.
Given the significant loss for the Vikings at QB and the amount of yards they allowed, this is a great spot for Chicago to cover the spread.
