BALTIMORE – Lamar Jackson has announced that he’s requested a trade from the Baltimore Ravens and odds are already posted on where he’ll end up for Week 1 of the 2023-24 season. Although he requested a trade, oddsmakers are still heavily in favor of him staying in Baltimore.

Baltimore Ravens

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are still in the market for a quarterback and the plan was for them to use their number one overall pick in the NFL Draft to select one. However, with Jackson’s trade request, this could be something that they look to explore.

There were also reports of Carolina being open to trading the pick. If Baltimore were to entertain that, there are plenty of QBs available and they’ll have their pick of the litter.

New York Jets

Although sitting with longer odds than the rest of the teams here, the New York Jets would actually make sense as a landing spot for Jackson. Yes, they’ve been linked strongly to Aaron Rodgers with a potential deal being done soon, but the Green Bay Packers are asking a similar price tag for Rodgers.

The Jets could turn around and offer that package for a much younger former MVP winner in Lamar and are expected to have around $60 million in cap space next season to work out an extension.
