Is This The Last We’ll See Of Antonio Brown?

  • Antonio Brown walked off the field during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last game.
  • Brown has -400 odds to not be rostered next season.

TAMPA, Fla. – Antonio Brown has been the most highly talked about player in the last week after the scene he caused in Week 17. During the Tampa Bay Buccaneers matchup against the New York Jets, Brown reportedly got in an argument with the Bucs coaching staff including Bruce Arians which led to him waking off the field.

According to Brown, he had been dealing with an ankle injury that he felt did not fully heal before the game. With that, Brown suited up and played a few snaps and in the third quarter when Arians called AB’s number, he refused to get in the game and Arians told him to get out.

After the whole scenario unfolded, online NFL betting sites listed odds for where Brown will play next season and he is favored to not be rostered by any team. It is hard seeing Brown on a team towards the start of the season being that he has had numerous chances to get his act together.

Where Will Antonio Brown Play Game 1 Next Season?

  • Not On NFL Roster -400
  • Green Bay Packers +500
  • Seattle Seahawks +650
  • Baltimore Ravens +850
  • Kansas City Chiefs +900
  • Philadelphia Eagles +1000
  • Indianapolis Colts +1500
  • Jacksonville Jaguars +2000

Over the last three years, he was cut from the Las Vegas Raiders after a verbal altercation with general manager Mike Mayock. After his release from the Raiders, he made his way to the New England Patriots where he was cut after one game for sexual misconduct away from the team. With his awful behavior off the field, it is hard seeing a team giving him a chance to start the season with them.

Long Shots To Keep An Eye On

With likely no team to be interested in his services right now, there is still a long way to go until the start of next season. With that said, two teams to keep in mind that could potentially give interest are the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens.

The Packers currently have the shortest odds of any team to sign AB for next season. As Aaron Rodgers' relationship with the Packers reportedly improving, they could look to surround him with premier offensive talent., something that Brown is not short of. The wide receiver position is also something that Rodgers has vouched for the team to improve on.

As for the Ravens, the term "blood is thicker than water" comes into play here with Marquise “Hollywood” Brown being AB’s first cousin. Also, before Brown made his way to the Buccaneers, there was video footage of Lamar Jackson, Antonio Brown, and Hollywood Brown training together in the offseason. With two of the Ravens' top offensive players having a relationship with Brown, the team could look to keep them happy by bringing him in.
