  • There are +750 odds for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the AFC Championship.
  • Kansas City signed Kenneth Walker in the offseason.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their worst season in the Patrick Mahomes era, following a 6-11 finish in 2025. That marks the Chiefs' first time under 10 wins since 2014 (9-7), and worst record since 2012 (2-14).

Despite the struggle in 2025, Super Bowl sportsbooks remain bullish on Patrick Mahomes’ squad in 2026 with their odds high on all major odds boards.

Kansas City Chiefs Odds 2026

  • Super Bowl: +1500
  • AFC Championship: +750
  • AFC West: +180
  • Win Total: 10.5 (Under -160)

Mahomes & Co. Back To Full Strength

Patrick Mahomes is fully healthy after tearing his ACL and LCL last season and has already returned to the field ahead of Chiefs training camp. There is plenty to get excited about heading into the Chiefs' season.

Aside from Patrick Mahomes returning to full strength, so are Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, leaving Kansas City’s wide receiver room at full strength. Rice played just eight games last season while Worthy missed time to start the year after dislocating his shoulder in Week 1 and never returned to form since.

Revamped Run Game

The Kansas City Chiefs made one of the bigger offseason moves in signing the reigning Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker, who will immediately slot in as the RB1 to what’s been a struggling run game. Walker is fresh off his second 1,000+ yard season, something the Chiefs haven’t had since 2017.

Current Odds State

At +1500, the Chiefs' Super Bowl odds are at their longest preseason point since the 2018 season, when they opened at +3000. In fact, both their AFC Championship and AFC West odds meet that criteria as well. More on the AFC West odds, it also marks the first time in the preseason since 2018 with plus money.

The Chiefs' win total remained competitive at 10.5 and now the eighth consecutive season with a 10+ win total. They’ve been tasked with a 10.5-win total twice since 2019 and have gone over both times.

Kansas City will open its season in Week 1 with a Monday Night Football showdown against the Denver Broncos.
