Bills Field Goal Favorites Vs. Titans In Rare Tuesday NFL Game

  • The Buffalo Bills are 3.5-point favorites over the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday Night Football.
  • This will be the first NFL game held on Tuesday Night since the Eagles and Vikings in Week 16 of 2010.
  • The O/U total for the Bills-Titans is set at 52 points.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The NFL has been steadfast in its approach to completing this season amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Unprecedented times have forced the NFL to remain flexible in its scheduling process as a team could experience a coronavirus outbreak during the season.

That type of adaptability is why tonight’s matchup between the undefeated Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans was pushed back.

The Bills-Titans game will be just the third NFL game to be held on Tuesday in professional football history. The last NFL game played on a Tuesday was in 2010 when the Philadelphia Eagles played the Minnesota Vikings because a blizzard delayed the game.

The only other time an NFL game was played on Tuesday was way back in 1946.

Despite the delay to the game the NFL did shuffle around the schedule as the Titans had their bye week moved up amid the virus outbreak. The Titans recently had 20+ players test positive for the virus and have not played since their Week 3 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Now that the Titans tests have stopped coming back positive their game against the Bills can go on as planned.

Now that the Titans have been cleared to return to play they put their undefeated record on the line against a Buffalo Bills team who also hasn’t lost a game this year.

Bills vs. Titans Betting Odds

  • Moneyline: Buffalo Bills (-175) vs. Tennessee Titans (+155)
  • Spread: Bills (-3.5)
  • O/U: 52

The Bills have improved their passing attack around Josh Allen and that's a major reason why they are favored by 3.5 points over the Titans.

Buffalo’s defense has also claimed its spot among one of the best units in the league yet again and will have a tough day trying to contain Titans running back Derrick Henry.

Taking the Bills SU here is likely the best bet for bettors as the Titans haven’t had much time to practice leading up to this game as their facilities just reopened Saturday. The lack of practice time and the week off will plague the Titans against one of the most complete teams in the NFL.

The Titans and Bills both can manufacture points with the total set at 52 take the Over as it has hit in both of the teams last two games.

This seems like it’ll be a close game but the Titans coming off their COVID outbreak will be outmatched by a better team. Expect Ryan Tannehill to give the Titans a fighting chance but the Bills defense will have the final say.

Kickoff for the Bills-Titans Tuesday Night game is slated for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcasted by CBS.
