LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers have been two of the surprise teams early in the season. Plus, Kyler Murray looks to be the early favorite for MVP as he has had nine total touchdowns through two weeks.

The Las Vegas Raiders Are An Elite Team In The NFL

The Las Vegas Raiders have beaten the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers this season. The teams they have beaten have wins over the Bills and Chiefs, so in a way, there’s a case to be made that the Raiders are the best team in the NFL.  NFL betting sites have the team favored for Week 3.

Kyler Murray Will Be The NFL MVP

Kyler Murray has had two big weeks and has recorded five touchdowns in Week 1 and four touchdowns in Week 2. He now finds himself as the third choice with online sportsbooks for MVP voting.

Murray most recently threw for 400 yards on 80.6% completion but maybe, and more importantly, his team is undefeated. If Murray continues to be an elite playmaker under center, his rushing ability could put him over players like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. It’s hard to see Murray having too many bad games this season with his skillset.

The Carolina Panthers And Sam Darnold Are Back

The Carolina Panthers are 2-0 on the season, which historically means there are good things to come. However, it’s the way in which they became 2-0 that carries the most weight.

The New Orleans Saints were arguably the most impressive team in Week 1, but the Panthers looked to be one of the most impressive teams against the Saints in Week 2 by beating them 26-7. Looking forward, Carolina is favored by over a touchdown next week.
