Odds And Trade Rumors Suggest Rosen Is Gone From Miami

  • The Miami Dolphins have received phone calls regarding the availability of Josh Rosen.
  • Rosen has the longest odds of being the starting quarterback in Miami with +2500 odds.

MIAMI — After just one year spent in the Miami Dolphins quarterback room, Josh Rosen might be on his way out. Rosen only appeared in five games for the Dolphins in which they lost all five of them.

Rosen arrived in Miami before the start of the 2019 season in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals. The Dolphins were hopeful that he would be able to turn things around for them, but he has not come close to that.

“Chosen” Rosen

With all of the hype surrounding Josh Rosen’s arrival in Miami, it quickly fizzled away.

After just five games (all losses), the Dolphins coaching staff quickly pulled the plug and inserted Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback.

Fast track to today, the Miami Dolphins have made quite the splash in the draft as they brought in Tua Tagovailoa from Alabama who could hopefully step in and carry this team.

Multiple teams have been reported to be interested in trading for Rosen, but the Dolphins don’t seem to be in any hurry unloading him as it is expected that they will let the first few games play out before doing so.

If trade rumors were not enough to let people know that Rosen’s time in Miami is slowly coming to an end, NFL sportsbooks have odds listed on who will be the starting quarterback come week 1 and Rosen’s odds are not in favor.

Dolphins Starting QB Week 1 2020 Regular Season

  • Ryan Fitzpatrick -350
  • Tua Tagovailoa +200
  • Josh Rosen +2500

It is clear that there are only two options of who could be the man under center come Week 1 for the Dolphins.

With Rosen’s odds that far off and trade rumors on the rise, expect many more betting lines on Josh Rosen in the near future.
