NFL Season Props Feature Great Odds For Kyler Murray’s TD Total

  • NFL Prop bets for passing TD total can provide bettors a great payout at the end of the year.
  • Total touchdown scoring odds for Kyler Murray, Patrick Mahomes, and Carson Wentz are all worth a closer look.

LAS VEGAS – When it comes to betting on the NFL, nothing proves a fan's true attention to detail like player prop bets. These bets are specific to each individual statistic that the particular player will be able (or unable) to reach.

It takes a focused fan to see these lines and find holes in the oddsmaker's logic, and an even smarter one to make the right pick.

Touchdown props are one of the most popular types of these bets. With the quarterback position being so highly valued in the NFL, these passing TD numbers can decide a team’s entire season. Therefore, the over/under bet on these lines is greatly based on how one believes a team will perform overall on offense.

Starting off with one of the most dynamic young playmakers in the game, 2019 No. 1 overall pick, Kyler Murray.

Kyler Murray 2020-21 Regular Season Passing TDs:

  • Over 24.5 -115
  • Under 24.5 -115

Sitting at 24.5 total touchdowns, this was a number that jumped off the board when pursuing the NFL prop bets. The 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year winner only threw for 20 touchdowns last season, but the Arizona Cardinals are looking to vastly outperform their 5-10-1 record from 2019. Murray also completed 64.4 percent of his passes for 3,722 yards, 12 picks, and an 87.4 passer rating.

Murray is expected to take a big step forward this season in year two of a high-octane Kliff Kingsbury offense. The Cardinals also added 4-time pro bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Houston Texans, giving Murray a huge new target to find in the end zone. Expect Murray to hit the over.

Another line worth checking out it that for the reigning NFL MVP and Superbowl Champion Patrick Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes – 2020-21 Regular Season Passing TDs:

  • Over 36.5 -125
  • Under 36.5 -105

Of all the quarterbacks listed with passing touchdown odds, it is not much of surprise to find the biggest total belonging to the Kansas City Chiefs QB Mahomes. Last year, Mahomes actually fell well short of this number, only recording 26 passing touchdowns.

However, the year before that, the league remembers when Mahomes demolished opposing defenses on his way to 50 scores. There is little question that Mahomes is able to hit the over here, as a midseason knee injury skewed his numbers last season.

The addition of running back and offensive weapon Clyde Edwards-Helaire from the NFL Draft should also help bolster some of Mahomes' touchdown total.

Expect the reigning MVP to bomb the endzone often in 2020.
