Kyler Murray Era Begins
The Minnesota Vikings QB battle between Kyler Murray and JJ McCarthy is settled, and Murray is taking over. He’ll unlock this offense compared to last season, especially Justin Jefferson, who finished last season with a career low in receiving yards and touchdowns.
The only other notable move that they made on offense was signing Jauan Jennings, who is coming off a 643-yard and nine-touchdown outing last season with the San Francisco 49ers. For the most part, this team is running it back with Kyler Murray at the helm.
Kevin O’Connell will also likely get the most out of what Kyler Murray has to offer. O’Connell has an extensive list of QBs that he’s found success with throughout his career as a head coach, including Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford, and Sam Darnold.
Despite the Vikings odds being as low as they are compared to last season, their win total remained in the same area at 8.5 compared to the 9.5 it came in last season, with standard -115 odds on both sides.
