Previewing The Betting Odds For The Colts 2021 Season

  • The Indianapolis Colts have +4500 odds to win the Super Bowl.
  • The Colts odds to win the AFC Championship are at +1400.
  • The Colts have the second shortest odds to win the AFC South at +150.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts had an above-average season in 2020 posting an 11-5 record but did not make it far in the playoffs as they saw a Wild Card exit.

Their Super Bowl odds are currently not in the best situation right now at +4500 due to some offseason injuries that occurred to some of their key players.

One thing that stood out for the Colts in 2020 was their defense as they finished top-10 in yards allowed per game.

Colts Offseason Acquisitions

The Colts were one of the busier teams in the offseason and made one of the bigger moves by any team as they now have Carson Wentz as their starting quarterback after the Philip Rivers retiring.

Colts Offseason Transactions

  • Carson Wentz, QB
  • Eric Fisher, OT
  • Chris Reed, OT
  • Sean Davis, DB
  • Julie’n Davenport, OT
  • Sam Tevi, OT
  • Kwity Paye, DT
  • Shawn Davis, DB
  • Dayo Odeyingbo, DT
  • Sam Ehlinger, QB

Aside from adding Carson Wentz, they also added to their near-perfect offensive line that already includes Quenton Nelson. As long as Carson Wentz can play a full season, their offseason moves should be put to work right away.

Colts Odds Shifting

The Colts odds have seen shifts across the board from their Super Bowl odds, their odds to win the AFC Championship, and their odds to win the AFC South division.

The Super Bowl odds for the Colts opened up at +2000 and due to injuries to Nelson and Carson Wentz before the season, they shot back to +4500.

The same shift happened with their AFC Championship odds as they went from +1100 to +1800. As for their division projections, the Colts AFC South odds went from -115 down to +150, just behind the Tennessee Titans.
