DALLASDak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys is coming off of a season-ending injury in the 2020 NFL season and sports betting fans are expecting him to have a breakout season.

Not only is the star QB favored to win Comeback Player of the Year for the 2021 NFL season, but Dak has fans betting on the Dallas Cowboys to win the NFC East and Super Bowl.

Betting On Dak Prescott

2021-22 Comeback Player of the Year

  • Dak Prescott +150
  • Joe Burrow +450
  • Christian McCaffrey +900
  • Saquon Barkley +900
  • Jameis Winston +1200
  • Laurent Duvernay-Tardif +1200
  • Nick Bosa +1200
  • Sam Darnold +1200
  • Jimmy Garoppolo +1600
  • Odell Beckham Jr. +1600
  • Von Miller +1800
  • Derwin James +2000
  • Tim Tebow +2000

Prior to the season-ending injury, Prescott was having a career season. Dak was leading the league in passing yards, including having two games of throwing for more than 400 yards.

Dak’s performance was so strong prior to his injury in Week 4 that even after Week 6 he remained the passing yard leader with no QB outperforming him despite being out two full games.

Dak is expected to come back even stronger after the injury. He successfully earned his big contract with the Cowboys organization and the Cowboys will see the return of offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La’el Collins.

The pair were injured last season which left Dak open to getting tackled.

Fans of NFL betting are leaning heavily in favor of Dak bouncing back from his injury under these conditions and performing even better in 2021, ultimately winning the Comeback Player of the Year award.

Dak’s Odds Affecting Cowboys Odds

With betting fans expecting Prescott to dominate, it is no surprise that this also affects the Cowboys' odds to win the NFC East.

NFC EAST

  • Dallas Cowboys +150
  • Washington +200
  • New York Giants +325
  • Philadelphia Eagles +650

The Cowboys on paper have the strongest team in the division. Dallas has a strong receiving core in CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper.

Additionally, Ezekiel Elliot is one of the best running backs in the league, giving the Cowboys potentially one of the best offenses in the league heading into the 2021 season.

The main reason they are favored, however, is because of Dak. Last season when Dak went out, the Cowboys finished dead last in the division with a 4-11 record.

The fact that they are the favorites to win this upcoming season shows that betting fans are really betting on Dak’s performance to carry the team.
