2022 Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Betting Guide

  • The Green Bay Packers have +900 odds to win the Super Bowl.
  • The Packers are top contenders for the NFC, with +400 odds to win it.
  • They lost Davante Adams in the offseason, but David Bakhtiari is set to return in 2022.

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Packers are third on the odds boards at most online sportsbooks in terms of odds to win the Super Bowl, with +900 odds to do so.

Last year, the Packers made it to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, losing to the San Francisco 49ers 13-10.

What Do The Sportsbooks Think About The Packers?

  • Green Bay Packers Odds To Win The Super Bowl: +900
  • Green Bay Packers Odds To Win NFC: +400
  • Green Bay Packers Odds To Be First Seed: +500
  • Green Bay Packers Odds To Win NFC North: -190

The sportsbooks are very optimistic about the Packers, putting them in third place in terms of odds to win the Super Bowl, and second place in terms of odds to win the NFC.

In addition, the Packers are heavily favored to win the NFC North, a division they have won for three consecutive years.

Their dominance over the North is exemplified by QB Aaron Rodgers’ exclamations at Chicago Bears fans that he “still owns you”.

What Major Changes Have The Packers Made?

The biggest loss over the offseason was the loss of Davante Adams, their star WR, and arguably the best WR in the league all told.

Adams put up 1553 yards in the air with 11 touchdowns, averaging a near-career high of 97.1 yards per game.

Adams will look to have his production replaced by likely new WR1 Allen Lazard, major contributions from running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, and some combination of rookie receivers Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson.

  • Under 725.5 +100

In terms of upgrades, however, the Packers are getting David Bakhtiari off of the PUP list, which should be a big boost to their offensive line.

Bakhtiari only played in one game in the 2021-22 season, and his absence was felt. In 2020, the Packers allowed 21 sacks, but in 2021, without Bakhtiari, they allowed 33.

“I’m happy with where I’m at. I’ve felt good, excited,” Bakhtiari said. “I’m going to see tomorrow how I feel. I know it sounds so cliché, but genuinely, I really mean this, I’m taking it day by day.”

  • Over 4100.5 +110
  • Under 4100.5 -145

  • Over 31.5 -115
  • Under 31.5 -115

Given that the Packers’ odds this season are in a roughly similar place as they were last season, it seems that the sportsbooks believe Bakhtiari’s return could do a lot of work to offset the loss of Adams, by giving QB Aaron Rodgers more protection in the pocket.

Rodgers passed for 4115 yards and 37 touchdowns in 2021, and his O/Us currently are almost exactly in that range. Note that Rodgers only played 16 games in 2021, missing one.
