There was no major change in the top-3 shortest odds, with the Buffalo Bills remaining favorites, with both the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles remaining just behind them, with minor movement in their odds.

Notable Risers

The Green Bay Packers Super Bowl odds are amongst the notable ones to move as they’ve dipped to under +1000 going into Week 2 for the first time since the 2017 season. This comes after their dominating 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions, who were the number one ranked offense in the NFL last season at 33.2 ppg.

One of the biggest risers following Week 1 were the Denver Broncos after their defensive dominance, allowing just 12 points (all field goals) and 183 total scrimmage yards.

Notable Fallers

One of the biggest fallers coming out of Week 1 were the Detroit Lions, who just looked extremely flat all around. This goes to show that the departures of both Aaron Glenn (defensive coordinator) and Ben Johnson (offensive coordinator) had a huge impact on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, Jared Goff averaged just 5.8 yards per completion on a 39 attempt night, the rushing attack put up just 46 yards on 2.1 yards per carry, and leading receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had just four receptions for 45 yards.

Arguably the biggest drop off, the Kansas City Chiefs see their odds drop from +850 to +1000 after their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. This marks the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era that the Chiefs Super Bowl odds are at +1000 or worse going into Week 2. The Chiefs are dealing with some major absences on offense, with Rashee Rice dealing with a six game suspension and now Xavier Worthy dealing with a dislocated shoulder.
