Chiefs Reclaim Top Of The Odds Board
There are several factors going into the Chiefs Super Bowl odds and Patrick Mahomes’ MVP odds, both being listed as the overall favorites.
One of the main ones for both cases is the return of Rashee Rice to the receiving core. Rice came back from suspension in Week 7 and made an immediate impact, scoring two of Mahomes’ three passing touchdowns on the day in the shutout 31-0 win.
Also, since the Chiefs dreadful 0-2, they went on a strong 4-1 stretch and have outscored their opponents by a massive 148-77 margin.
As for Mahomes’ MVP odds, he’s rapidly climbed the ladder over that five game stretch, posting 1,355 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and one interception, as well as two rushing touchdowns.
In total, Mahomes has 1,800 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, two interceptions, 250 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns. His passing yard total and 77.6 QBR rank fourth amongst all QBs in the NFL.
